Festive Wreath Workshops
Come and join us for a cosy, festive evening of wreath making at Marmadukes - The Sorting Office and The Mowbray. You will learn how to make your own winter wreath for your door with expert guidance and demonstrations from our tutors. All materials are included along with mince pies and mulled wine.
These workshops are all about having fun and being creative and are perfect for novice and seasoned wreath makers alike. Bring some pals and get together for a fun, relaxed evening to help get you in the festive spirit!
We are running five workshops, so you can choose to your date and ideal venue. We will be at Marmadukes - The Sorting Office and at The Mowbray in Kelham Island.

Apple Day 🍎
Join us at Big Bloom - our community garden at Heeley & Meersbrook Allotments for a day filled with apple related fun! We will be pressing apples from our community orchard, have delicious treats and warm drinks to enjoy, and you can bring your family and friends to enjoy a lovely day in our community garden. All welcome.
Bring a bottle to take some juice home and come and help us chop apples and squeeze them into juice.

Kenzan Workshop
During the workshop you will be creating an Ikebana-inspired arrangement using a Kenzan with guidance and instruction from our in-house florist. We will be using locally grown, seasonal flowers and foliage to make a unique arrangement. Our workshops are for all abilities and are about having fun, being creative and giving it a go!
All equipment provided, including flowers and a Niwaki Kenzan. There is a discounted ticket price, if you bring your own Kenzan.
Flower Club
If you have a passion for flowers or have always wanted to have a go at flower arranging then Bloom Flower Club is here for you!
Once per month, our flower shop will be hosting a relaxed drop-in workshop where you will be given a mixed bucket of locally grown flower stems for you to play with!
Our in-house florist will be on hand to teach you anything you would like to know whether that's, bouquet making, flower crowns, buttonholes, arranging in a vase - literally anything! And you will get to leave with your wonderful creation and hopefully some new skills!
Vase Arrangement Workshop
Come and join us for a gorgeous morning celebrating the best of British flowers. We will teach you how to create vase arrangements that can be used in any vase that you have at home. The workshops includes, a selection of flowers grown in our community garden and expert tuition from Bloom's florist. Please bring your favourite vase from home.
Our workshops are for all abilities and are about having fun, being creative and giving it a go!
Summer Solstice Flower Crown Workshop
Join us for a magical, creative evening to celebrate the summer solstice in style. Come and spend the evening with us at Marmadukes and learn something new and stretch those creative muscles. You will learn how to use seasonal flowers from our cutting garden to make a flower crown.
Along with expert tutorage, your ticket price includes a cocktails, in-house made snacks and all of the equipment and flowers that you need.
So grab some pals, or come on your own, and let's enjoy a summers evening together.
Plant Sale & Seed Swap
Join us at Sheffield Botanical Gardens for our annual plant sale and seed swap. We will have a huge range of plants up for grabs, so come and treat yourself to something special for your garden. We will have homemade cakes, teas and coffees. We will be situated at the Dorothy Fox Education Centre.

Come and learn how to make your very own bouquet!
You will be creating a hand-tied bouquet with guidance and tutorage from our in-house florist. We will be using locally grown, seasonal flowers and foliage to make a unique arrangement. Our workshops are for all abilities and are about having fun, being creative and giving it a go!
Wedding Flowers Workshop - Table Flowers
Come and learn how to create your very own wedding flowers at our flower shop! This workshop will be focusing on table flowers, where our florist will give you a guided tuition on making different types of table arrangements - from bud vases to rose bowls using locally grown flowers from our community garden.
The ticket price includes all the flowers and equipment needed to make your beautiful creations.

We are so excited to be back at Endless Love Creative market this Spring. Come and see us and the other amazingly talented store holders at The Showroom Workstation. We will have bucket loads of fresh flowers and Bloom goodies.
Wedding Flowers Workshop - Bouquets
Come and learn how to create your very own wedding flowers! This workshop will take you through our creative process and give you top tips to develop your skills to create your own wedding flowers. This session will focus on bouquets. Our florist will give you a guided tuition on making bridal and bridesmaid bouquets using locally grown flowers from our community garden.
Seed Sowing Workshop
Join us at our community flower garden to focus on growing a garden from seed. In this session we will be practising different methods of seed sowing and learning which seeds to sow now. We will be practice potting on and you will receive a seed sowing calendar to help plan your flower growing season.
This is a perfect workshop for beginner growers or folks who have just started out on their flower growing journey.

Join us and Rebecca Lee Close at the Hillsborough Pavillion for some nourishing movement to help us feel good. This class is aimed at inviting space to feel comfort and ease, as if you were out in the peaks on a warm summers day.
Each class will be unique to the people in the space. However, a rhythm of gentle opening, easeful movement, mindfulness and breath awareness will be followed throughout.
Rebecca encourages students to come to class with an open mind and an expectation to understand and feel your subtle body and movements intentionally. Rebecca aims to help you find a way to make yoga work for you, rather than straining to make your body fit into a consumer driven assumption of yoga.
This class is for women and non-binary people. We are a trans-inclusive organisation.
This event is in our Winter Wellbeing programme and is available on a pay-as-you-can basis. This is to ensure that everyone can access activities that make them feel good, without money being a barrier. Dahlia Planting Workshop
At Bloom, we grow hundreds of dahlias from tubers. Come and help us get them going for the new season and learn all about how to grow these amazing flowers - no experience necessary. We will be talking about our favourite varieties and our top tips for healthy blooms.
This event will take place outside at our community flower garden at Heeley & Meersbrook Allotments.
How To Grow a Flower Garden - 6 Week Course
We are delivering a schedule of seasonal horticulture and floristry workshops to help you get the most from your garden. This programme of events is aimed at beginners and for those who want to leanr about the foundations of growing flowers. Each session will be practical and hands-on and will allow you to get stuck in. The monthly break down is as follows:
Thursday 21st March 6.30pm-7.30pm - Get To Know Your Flowers Talk at TONCO Bakery
This session will help you identify the aims of your growing space and introduce you to the main plants and flowers that you can grow.
Saturday 13th April 10am - 12:30pm - Sowing Seeds at Bloom's Community Garden
Practising different methods of seed sowing and which seeds to sow now.
Sunday 9th June 10am-1pm- Cutting, Conditional and Arranging at TONCO Bakery
We will be teaching you how to cut flowers correctly and how to condition the stems. You will also be creating a hand-tied bouquet with guidance and tutorage from our in-house florist.
Sunday 21st July 10am - 12pm - How To Create a Vase Arrangement at TONCO Bakery
We will teach you how to create vase arrangements that can be used in any vase that you have at home.
Sunday 29th September 10am - 12pm - Bulb Planting and Dahlia Dividing at Bloom's Community Garden
You will learn how to plant bulbs for a maximum yield and how to lift, divide and store dahlias over the winter.Sunday 27th October Seed Saving and Drying Flowers 10am - 12pm - Location weather dependant.
We will be learning all about different techniques or drying flowers and how to save seeds. This session will be focused around biodiversity and growing an environmentally friendly garden.
Get To Know Your Flowers Talk
Join Kendall to learn all about growing flowers. We will be covering the best flowers to grow for beginners, what to grow seasonally and the different types of flowers you can grow. An opportunity to learn about flower growing and ask any questions you may have.
Willow Weaving - Make a Living Dome
Join us at Big Bloom, our community garden to help us create our very own living dome for the community to enjoy. This workshop will be hands-on and perfect for little ones to help too. We are teaming up with Sarah from Twig Twisters for the workshop.
The sculptures are made entirely of willow. Sarah’s workshops are run at a steady pace and are suitable for beginners. You will be expertly guided through every step to create a wonderful sculpture for the whole community to enjoy.
Seed Sowing Event
Join the Bloom team at the community garden and help us sow our seeds for the year ahead. We will take you through the best way to sow flower seeds to give you blooms throughout the year. We will also cover to basic flower growing/gardening techniques, so join us if you’d like a relaxed introduction to flower growing.
Winter Wellbeing Run
Join Alice for a fun and invigorating run around Endcliffe Park, which will boost your mood and provide an opportunity to embrace the great outdoors during the colder months.
We will meet at the Hunter’s Bar entrance to the park before setting off on a gentle 5km run along paths and trails. After the run is complete, we will head to a nearby cafe for coffee and pastries!
This activity is suitable for all levels and is designed to be a welcoming and inclusive experience. The pace will be adjusted to the ability of the group and we will take plenty of walking breaks if needed. If you have any concerns prior to the event, please get in touch.
Remember to wear clothes and footwear that is suitable for the activity and weather conditions, and bring a water bottle.

Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop

If you have them, please bring along a sharp pair of secateurs, loppers, a pruning saw and a pair of rubber grip gardening gloves. Tools and gloves will be provided if you don’t have your own.
