What we do

Our gardens are safe and welcoming places to reconnect with nature, meet like-minded people, and grow. Fancy getting involved? There are a few different ways to be part of it, and you don’t need any experience. Take a look.

8 week therapeutic horticulture groups focussed on getting us to feel good - both mentally and physically.

These groups run for 8 weeks at a time throughout the year. They are small groups and give us the opportunity to work together, meet new people and share skills.

If you’re feeling a bit down, or anxious, and feel like some time outdoors doing something productive will make you feel good, come along! These groups are for everyone.

Drop-in gardening get-togethers for fun, friendship and feeling good.

Would you like to meet some lovely people and learn new skills? Or perhaps you are feeling a little down or anxious and feel like some time outside would do you good. Join us as a group of like-minded people to plant, weed, sow and sip tea in the fresh air to help us feel good.

Come and connect with nature through nature based crafts and activities, and create friendships within the parenting community.

We deliver two groups a week - Bloom Seedlings for Mums & babies and Bloom Saplings for Mums & toddlers.

Join us at Big Bloom, our community garden at Heeley & Meersbrook Allotments which is home to an orchard, woodland, planted beds and plenty of space to relax, explore and play.

All the flowers we grow at our groups and in our gardens are sold weekly in our shop, online and at pop ups and markets during the British flower season. You can order flowers for collection and delivery.

We also sell beautifully scented soaps, candles, and other gifts, handmade by Sheffield creatives with our Heeley-grown botanicals. When you buy a bouquet of flowers or book our florists for your wedding you’re helping our garden — and the people tending it — to grow.

Planning a wedding or an event? We’d love to be part of it - just ask!

From supper clubs and pop-up flower stalls to floristry and horticulture courses, we run all kinds of events all year round. Come and get stuck in, and remember — whenever you book tickets, buy a bouquet, or join us for a workshop, you’re keeping our garden growing.

Want to lend some hands-on support to Bloom? We’d really love to hear from you.

Volunteering with us is a great way to meet new people and give a little something back to your community. There are a few different positions we need to fill, so drop us a line to learn more.
