We are a not-for-profit organisation so we rely on the kindness and generosity of our community to keep us going and keep us being able to open our flower garden for everyone to use and benefit from. All the money that we raise from the sales of our bulbs, goes back into the garden and towards supporting and helping women in Sheffield.

Our bulbs are available to purchase via our website from

Ranunculus

We have chosen the ‘Picotee Pink’ variety this year. It has delicate, tissue-like petals that look like they have been touched by a painter’s brush. The petals are multi-layered and provide a rose-like appearance with colours blending from cream, to pale and vibrant pink. This variety tends to grow about 35cm high, so are great to use in Spring bouquets. You can check out our blog post to find out more about how to grow ranunculus.

Narcissus & Daffodil Mix

A gorgeous mixture of bulbs to give you variety in your garden come the Spring. In our opinion, you can’t beat a daffodil when it comes to putting a smile on your face.

They are often one of the first flowers to bloom and are great in a vase if you can bear to cut them. There are so many different varieties of Narcissus, so we thought we would put together a mixture for you to enjoy. Daffodils are also extremely easy to grow, so perfect for a beginner gardener. They are perfectly happy growing in pots so are a great choice if you have limited space.

Apricot Parrot Tulip

We have chosen this flouncy fella to join to line-up this year! We love the way a parrot tulip displays a multitude of colours throughout its life. When in bud, it is pale with tinges of green, followed by lighter petals when it begins to open and it finishes, when it’s petal are completely open, with vibrant, fringed flowers that are a tropical treat! This variety also grows up to 50cm and grows on long stems so are excellent in a vase. Again, tulips are super easy to grow and need very little looking after. Well worth popping these guys in the ground - you won’t regret it! You can read our blog post about how to grow tulips here.

Dutch Iris

One of my all time favourites and new in our bulb collection for this year. We have chosen the ‘Pretty In Blue’ variety, so expect a mix of beautiful blue, white and purple flowers in late Spring. Dutch Iris are hardy and held on long, strong stems that grow up to 50cm. In my opinion, you can’t get a nicer bunch than a few Iris’ in a simple, glass vase. While Dutch Irises are incredibly easy to grow, plenty of sunlight and well-drained soil are key to their happiness and they look amazing when planted in swathes to create a real impact in the garden.

Anemone

Also known as ‘Poppy Anemones’, Anenome 'Sylphide', which we have chosen this year, offers a cup of the brightest deep pink petals highlighted by a whorl of bright purple stamen at the centre of each perfectly shaped bloom. This variety grows on tall stems (25cm) and have soft, ferny foliage. Anemones are great for cut flowers and will provide blooms for weeks, they can also be left in the ground for bonus flowers next year. What a lovely Spring surprise!
