The Line Up Is Here!

We have been so busy planning and preparing a Summer Solstice Celebration this June! We are so excited to share with you all the amazing things we have planned and as always, all the money that we raise through our events and sales goes back into the garden and into helping us deliver mental health gardening groups and open days for women in our community. We are a not-for-profit organisation so we rely on the kindness and generosity of our community to keep us going and keep us being able to open our flower garden for everyone to use and benefit from. We are also going to have loads of amazing things for sale over the weeks running up to the big weekend, so keep your eyes peeled!

Thursday 17th June at 6pm

A Solstice Supper Club with The Mowbray

grow-the-mowbray-x-bloom-sheffield-270521095409.jpeg

Join us for a magical event at The Mowbray to kick start our solstice celebrations. A floral inspired supper club and dining feast, with Bloom signature cocktails and wonderful company. A menu created from June’s abundance; think fresh peas, broad beans, radishes, and seasonal herbs such as chives, dill, nasturtium and flowering herbs such as lavender, garlic flowers/buds, saffron and rose petals in The Mowbray’s house made harissa or ras el hanout. Expect 3-courses of pure seasonality - earthy tones matched with the lightness of soft herbs and delicate floral tones.

The Mowbray will be dressed and styled by us with heavenly floral tablescapes straight from the cutting garden and of course we’ll be dining by The Mowbray’s signature candlelight. What a perfect way to share stories, reconnect and celebrate the longest day of the year. We will also be hosting a raffle featuring work by creatives across the city. We can’t wait to champion our communities awesome talents and raise vital funds for our community garden.

Friday 18th June at 6:30pm

Floral Illustration Workshop

Bloom Sheffield is teaming up with Can't Draw Club for an evening of scribbling, pruning, and probably giggling. This is an informal drawing workshop for those who say they can't draw (and those that can). The evening will encourage the joyful and sociable act of drawing, with no obligation to create anything of great beauty. We will explore the allotment's blooms through quick drawing exercises, with drinks and nibbles on the side.

Saturday 19th June at 7:45am

Early Rise Open Day & Yoga in the Flower Garden

Esther is a yoga teacher that specialises in women’s health and wellbeing and she will be guiding us through a nourishing practice, perfect for the early risers. Tea, porridge and fresh fruit will be provided. Book tickets here to join us!
