Shop Opening Weekend 🌻
We wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the opening of our new shop. We were blown away by your support, enthusiasm and love. We are so grateful to be part of such a welcoming community.
On Friday 7th July, we spent the whole day putting the final touches to the shop - cleaning windows, creating displays and setting up the till. We had our last day in the studio, so in the afternoon all the flowers we brought over and displayed on the flower stand. It started to feel like home when all of our community grown flowers were proudly displayed. It filled the room with colour and bought the shop to life! We’ve loved adding in lots of cute details, one of our favourites being the welcoming “hello flower” hand painting on the floor, by the very talented Grace Jandrell.
At 6:30pm, we opened our doors for the first time to welcome our volunteers, patrons, friends and family. We had such a gorgeous evening, with the evening sunlight beaming through our window. We shared fizz, sweet treats and lots of laughs. So many people came, they were spilling out onto the street. We also received some gorgeous cards and baked gifts, that we were so thankful for.
On Saturday, we opening to the public and had so many lovely chats with people. We had such a busy day and sold every single stem. We couldn’t believe it! Thank you to everyone who bought flowers or treats from us.
And now, we are properly open at 661 Chesterfield Road, S8 0RY (opposite Woodseats Primary School). We are trialling opening hours of Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10am - 5pm. So you can pop in for flowers, gifts and friendly faces during those times. We are also running lots of workshops at the shop too, so why not come a long and give something new a try. You can order our bouquets online — we do local delivery and collections every week during the British flower season. Along with our flowers we are also selling a selection of gorgeous gifts and gardening goodies. We are very excited to be a new Niwaki stockist and we have a range of beautiful, high quality gardening and floristry tools in the shop. We are also selling all of our Bloom merchandise, flower books, candles, soaps and a selection of gorgeous ceramics. We teamed up with Clod Studio to create a selection of bespoke Bloom vases, which look so fabulous filled with flowers.
