Gardening To Feel Good Groups
At this time, we know that staying at home and staying safe is the most important thing we can do but if you’re anything like us, we need something to look forward to, to get us through this weird and uncertain time.
That’s why we wanted to tell you about our ‘Gardening to Feel Good’ groups that will be starting up as soon as safe to do so.
Our groups will run on a Tuesday from 1:30 - 4:30pm each week for 6 weeks. They will focus on getting us to feel good, both mentally and physically! These will be small groups that will give us opportunities to work together, meet new people and learn and share skills. If you’re feeling a bit down, or anxious, and feel like some time outdoors doing something positive will make you feel good, come a long! These groups are for everyone - we all have mental health and we all need to look after it.
We have really benefited from spending time in our safe garden space during the lockdown and we know that there will be lots of women out there who will want to get outside and involved in positive activities as soon as they can.
We have continued to look after the garden and tended to it, and we can’t wait till we can share it again with some wonderful women.
